Does anyone have load data for .32 S&W Long using Titegroup and a 98 gr LSWC bullet?

I can’t seem to find it anywhere, and I know I’ve loaded them before.

It's a starting point.
Not in my opinion it isn't. There is nothing similar with load data for a full WC bullet and a SWC bullet.

Lyman #50 has data for the 32 S&W Long with an 85gr LRN bullet. The starting load is 2.2gr Titegroup and the max is 2.6gr. Of course you shouldn't use the max charge because your bullet is lighter but I would think the starting charge of 2.2gr will be safe as a max with the 98gr cast bullet but probably no higher. I found some data online but not from a published source. It was 1.9gr to 2.2gr Titegroup which seems to verify the 2.2gr max I posted.

Don't do anything you feel might not be safe, this is only what I would do.

Hodgdons has a 90 gr LSWC and a 98 gr LHBWC other than the COL look at the min and max loads for both bullets.

You do the math:)

Fairly certain I have that in my Lyman casting book. I'll check when I get home after class, remind me if you don't hear back by tomorrow.

Closest I've got in the Lyman book is for a 100gr Saeco (Redding) #326 LSWC. Titegroup start grain 1.8 max grain 2.1. Velocity is 628 and 742 respectively.

That sounds about right. I'll be shooting these in a Charter Undercoverette, so even if they are a tad over pressure for .32 SWL, they should still be under .32 H&R pressure.

On a side note, does anyone know why SAAMI lists the transducer pressure of .32 SW as 17,000 PSI and .32 SWL as 15,500 PSI? It would seem that if 17,000 PSI was safe in the smaller case, then it should be safe in the larger case since .32 SW can be shot from a .32 SWL.
