I worked up a 30/06 180 gr. load using w760 about 4 years ago. At that time I think I had 8 rounds left over , I have 4 left. ( I deer hunt ).
My question is , what is your experience with aging hand loads and the powder kept in a controlled climate ? How long before they lose their integrity?

I don't worry about it unless it 20+ yrs old. I had some IMR4350 that started to go bad from handloads assembled in the 80's. I just pulled the bullets, resize and put fresh powder in. I've had one ball powder go bad W748 after 38 yrs. If you have crony data you could fire a few and compare. Then you would have your answer.

I just shot some full house 357 reloads that are several years old and were loaded with Winchester 296 bought in the late 70's. From the amount of recoil they had I would say they were just as good as those from when the powder was bought. No variation at all with them.
