I have a MEC 600 Jr Mark V. My shotgun is a 1931 Fox Sterlingworth with a 2 5/8" chamber. I'd like to load that length or 2 1/2". Are ther adapters to convert this press, or home-made rigs to do it?
The only problem you are likely to encounter with the 2.5" shells is with the crimp. I reload 2.5" shells for my old 12 ga. hammer gun, but I use a roll crimp. However, a simple 0.25" spacer under the shell would probably work fine to crimp the shell in a MEC press.
