Hi everyone, hope someone can help. I have an ejector pin stud (the big one) broken off in the frame of a 1911. I cant get it out, and I know there are some local people who read this in my area. Im looking for a real gunsmith or machine shop that can remove this locally, in the Burlington Wa to Canadian border area that have the ability, AND willingness to do such a job. Ill get the phone book out too, but any help you have is appreciated I can send it in for warranty for $80 or so, so Im trying to keep it in that range. Installing a new ejector is not an issue. This is a pinned ejector, not locktight, and the pin did come out okay. If anyone has any trick to do at home, ill try those too. Thanks.

Soak it for a day or two with Kroil or Kroil/Acetone mix then see if you can pull it out with a rare earth magnet. You'll be surprised at what a small powerful magnet will do.
