I have plenty of mostly AR lowers, stripped and complete as well as uppers and barrels that are taking way to much space in my safe.

If I sprayed them with a CLP and then put then in a food saver vacuim sealed bag would they be ok for long term storage?

From there they would also likely stay in an empty Pelican case in my attic ( in Florida) Just so in the worst case they aren't easily noticed and stolen.

AR lowers are aluminum and don't rust. Having said that, my dad and I both store things in food saver bags to keep air/moisture out. Things we keep in the bags are powder for long term storage, loaded and clean rounds of various calibers. I have not tried this but I'm sure you can store an entire rifle broken down and oiled in a bag. I have heard that moisture will always work its way into the storage tubes prepers use.

Moisture will move through plastic. How fast is dependent upon a number of factors, but moisture will move through plastic.

Aluminum will not "rust", but is can oxidize.

Oil up whatever it is you want to store, put it in the bag and then add a silica desiccant bag (this is one seller I have bought from before - there are many others - http://silicagelpackets.com/) before you seal it up and you should be good.
