I see that AmSec is well regarded as a good buy for the money but not sure if that holds true for all thier lines. Mostly i see folks referring to the BF series but i am looking at thier less expensive side of the spectrum, the TF series. This one features a 3/16" plate door, 12 ga body, 30 minute fire rating and no apparent RSC or theft rating. The overall dimensions are 60"h x 30"w x 26"d. These seem to sell for $850 or $1150 delivered. Is there an alternate brand/model that will give me better protection all around for the same money?

Thanks,
Jon

JonF;

AMSEC is a major manufacturer of all sorts of security containers. They are a full-line manufacturer, making everything from true safes down to tin boxes.

I'll have to look up the TF line & see exactly what it is, but if it's under the BF line, I'll suggest saving up if possible & get a BF.

The TF series is beneath the BF series.

If you're shopping based on price, look at the Eagle series safes on my website (link in signature). They have 10 gauge bodies with 1/4" doors, as well as other features not found on the AMSEC. They should be fairly similar in price.
