I have a 70 Series Combat Commander that is Satin Nickle. Kinda like brushed stainless with a goldish tint. It has an arched MSH which I hate. Does anyone know where I might obtain a flat one? Colt, Numrich, Brownells and other parts houses have been no help.
Looking for a part that I'm not sure ever existed....

Flat housings are a dime a dozen. Look on Ebay, Gunbroker, contact smiths who might have one in a take off parts box. Nickle might be a bit more difficult. You could always have it plated.
I have a Wilson stainless steel flat mainspring housing that I would trade for your arched one if you are interested.

SC..I do have a JTM Co arched Stainless (not shiny at all) one if you'd like it. It is serrated instead of being checkered. I have no plans to use it.
