Looking for a range in SE PA that allows shooting from a holster

This is the place you want. It is at the outside edge of your hour limit, but WELL worth it. I just checked the rules at the website, and shooting from the holster is not mentioned. The best part about the place is that most times, when there is no scheduled event it will seem like you have the whole place to yourself.
With one or two exceptions, I've shot at every range in S.E. Pa, and this is the best one hands down. They also have cool ranges with bowling pins and steel targets to shoot at. I've never shot at their indoor range so can't comment on that, but the people (lack of) and outdoor facility are awesome.

There's also TargetMaster, on 202, right near the PA/DE border. They allow drawing from holsters on their indoor range.
Have you tried French Creek outfitters in Phoenixville? I'm not sure if they allow from a holster or not.
TM has an annoying no-winchester white box policy, though. So if you go there, be sure to bring something else, or you'll have to pay their higher-than-average prices for ammo. (They also prohibit blazer)

They do not allow drawing from a holster unless you are Law Enforcement and they know you. The lanes have a big metal shelf attached to them to prevent drawing. If you try and they see you you will be thrown out.
Years ago I used to shoot there, and even with this rule I found it to be e dangerous place due to untrained folks being there, and lack of range supervision.

Well if you don't mind driving a bit, I used to be a member here which was maybe ten minutes from the I-83 exit off the turnpike. I moved back to FL which has nothing like it. I never met anyone unfriendly and most would offer to let you fire a few rounds of anything cool. Several people fired my HK clones, while I got to fire a Barrett M82a1 one day. It was a great place three years ago as well as very reasonable. The pop up steel plates on the handgun range were great as well as the "shoot house" to practice your home defense. I never shot at the indoor range there, as at the time they only allowed nonjacketed bullets, but who wants to shoot inside when you have great ranges outside. Also, weekends were always busier, but during the week you'd have the place to yourself.

There must have been a policy change. The last time I did this was about a year and a half ago. I asked the RO if it was okay to practice using a holster and he said no sweat. He moved me to the end lane, and dropped the metal shelf you mentioned. He never asked me if I was LE.
Maybe they did away with the rule at some point after you stopped going there. Their ROs seem to be competent these days. I avoid the first timers and unsafe dopes by shooting on slow nights, like Tuesdays.
