Prefer .243, 6MM,.308 boltface, but can work with the smaller .222, etc.

We've rewelded the bolt handle on my 6 AI twice, and it just broke off again.:banghead: I think its time to start with a new one.:cuss:

thier website is www.e-gunparts.com I have a 222 that I redid to 223 and ordered a couple of things from them. They have all kinds of gun stuff. I have one of thier catalogs that I use a ref for my guns.

I'd go with Jack First before anybody else. Might want to consider reworking the bolt handle differently than you have been. For instance, TIG welding it instead of brazing or soldering. Other than the trigger group coming loose, the bolt handle was the weakest link on an otherwise wonderful budget gun that outshot many target rifles.

How different is the bolt handle attachment compared to the Mod. 700? If it's attached in the same manner as the Mod. 700, then you could have HD Rifle perform their Bolt Hanle Modification. Check out HD Rifles .

If the Mod. 788 bolt is different, maybe something similar could still be done. Their bolt modification is bulletproof, and they do great work. Worth checking out.
