So I love my CZ75B, but I want to do some mods on it.

I want to...
Get some hex grip screws
A better main spring
A metal guide rod
trigger work

I had some other grips on it, the half smooth half checkered plastic ones, but I didn't like them, so I decided to put some rubber grips on there. But, in the process, I pretty much butchered the grip screws, so I want some Hex grip screws. any idea where I can get some good ones for cheap?

I also have problems with some spent brass flying up into my face when I am shooting, and to solve that issue I hear that you can get a better main spring from Wolff. Waht one do you reccomend?

I also want a metal guide rod. Is the CZ custom shop the best place to get one?

And finally, I want to help out the trigger a little bit. Any suggestions?

I'd rather use Brownell's slotted grips screws.

You can get a lighter mainspring. I run #15s in my P-01 and PCR.

Think about a Wolff extractor spring for your 75B.

I've used many a guide rod from Steve Bediar.

There are few Gunsmiths in this country that I'd trust with my CZs.

Just firing your Cz will improve the trigger.

Look on my CZ-ZONE for vendors of CZ accessories.

Angus and crew do excellent trigger work.
I believe he was trained by CZ-USA.

Know that some Gunsmiths claim to know CZs, but really don't.

I have a Minty 1985 Pre-B that I can't sell because of a botched trigger job.

The resulting trigger is wonderful-- but the hammer will slip from half cock if you carry your CZs that way.

Kind of sucks, because Pre-Bs have risen dramatically in the past year and seem to be
going up each month.

It would buy me new RAMI P and then some!

Anyhow, buyer beware when it comes to CZ work.

On my 75B I only put Hogue grips with new slotted screws. The hex heads are much more likely to get messed up in my opinion. I changed out the recoil spring for a Wolff extra power spring. It functioned fine with all loads but made it slightly more difficult to rack the slide and you could kind of hear and feel the longer spring in there doing it's thing. Sort of odd feeling but it worked fine. For the trigger all I did was a lot of dry firing with snap caps and it smoothed out a bit. Don't get too crazy with the differences in the springs or you'll make it finicky.

Atomd, What recoil spring do you have in there?

and is the # of the spring referring to It's poundage?

I just checked it and it's the 16# spring. Yes, the # symbol refers to lbs (pound symbol). The stock number of the spring I purchased from them is 43016. It looks like they have some other spring choices that are listed to fit B models only now. Not sure what the difference is and I don't think they sold them at the time that I purchased this spring.
