Los Angeles city council passes ordinance requiring contractors to disclose ties with NRA

I wonder what would happen if I wrote legislation where any person considered for employment in my corporation must hold an active NRA membership? Then my legislation was actually passed into law. How would that fare? California and New York never cease to amaze me. I was NYC born and raised before all the gun nonsense began and also lived a number of years in CA. I have never had a desire to return and live in either state.

Just FYI, in the 30's several major financial companies demanded membership in the Republican Part for their employees in NYC. They also demanded that you be a Christian.

Just saying, that there is nothing new when it comes to discriminatory behavior under the sun.

So lie to the bastards. There is no shame or dishonor lying to the enemy as they are not worthy of the truth. Let the fools award them the contract then send a portion of the profits to the NRA, GOA, JPFO and other gun rights groups.
You willing to go to jail for it? And are you a contractor in LA who has many projects going at once, that cannot be run from jail? I thought not.

That'd work great in court, but not so much on a contract. You'd have to push for a trial based on discrimination and get that into court before it'd come into play.

LA jail / any large city are overflowing-full. Even at state level crimes, only severe cases & repeat offenders (Pete, and rePete LoL) are locked down in state prison. Everyone else is diversionary programmed; drug courted; probationed , house arrested, electric ankle braceleted. Community service,''Counseling'' :feet:for ''rage'' , or ''anger management''.

Where are they supposed to house alll these infractioners as they obviously :alien:think this is a crisis?
