....I love it when all the work on my reloads all come together. This is a group that I shot this morning testing some match loads. Target at 100yd, 3-shot group. 47 degrees, light rain.

Load Data: .308 Win
178gr Hornady BTHP Match
CCI BR2
2000-MR 47.2gr
Lapua Brass 2.005"
Ogive 2.2325" (.02" off lands)
OAL 3.000

CAUTION: use at your own risk! This load works in my rifle! Caution is because Alliant has data for 175gr bullet and that's highest they go. I use A LOT of this powder.

I myself do all the case prep, anneal, neck turn and so many other things. To each their own though. It works for me. [emoji2]

First off very nice shooting.
Quick question, do you think the Lapua brass has made a difference over other kinds of brass?

I'm going to try to start shooting F-class this year, just trying to get loads figured out.

Well, this is the first group I've shot this small to date. Lapua brass is very good brass. I'm slowly stocking up on Lapua brass, but my rifle likes Win brass as well.

My 600yd load with Win brass, I get right around .2500-.2900" when I go practice.

This is my 1000yd load since the capacity is smaller, so I get higher velocities with it using Lapua brass.

I could not find what cartridge you are using. I'm sure if I looked at the critical dimensions I could figure it out but my load books are out in my shop.

On the Ballistic AE pic it shows .308 bullet diameter so I guess it is one of the 30 calibers.

This is very cool. I am looking into tinkering with my M700 SPS Tactical in the near future. It is going to include some action work but handloads are also going to play a part. Good info to have when I start tinkering with the loads.

Well where did all the others go.....:neener:

Seriously VERY VERY NICE !!!

I have done it only a couple of times in my short 40'ish years of loading and shooting, and your right it is OH SO SWEET...:D:D Congrats, I hope it stays with you for a good while.

Thanks. I went to the range today to verify, and it held. Did 4 groups of 5-shots each, and they were all tight. There was a bit of right to left wind today as cold front is coming through.

In Benchrest those are called a 4 and 1. Four in the group and one out. It is the one out we were always trying to avoid, while keeping the group as small as possible.

Nice shooting. Wind is always the factor.

Thank you. One of these day I'll get'em to all group together. Lol. One of these days. Lol

As long as it stays in the 10-ring or at least touching the line at 600 in F-Class, I'll be happy. Lol

The harder the task, the more satisfaction/pride one achieves in accomplishing it.

Bipod is a Sinclair F-Class bipod. Rear bag right now is a Caldwell cheapo filled with heavy sand. I have a Protektor on the way though. Ordered it on the 26th so should be here any day I would think, or at least this week. Maybe tighten the groups up a bit.
