This rifle just never ceases to amaze me! Set up a steel target on my friends property at 335yrds, and first shot was dead center mass(11"x14") all the other shots followed suit.....after 8 shots with one bullet splash mark, I'm pretty sure I could have ran all 50rds that I brought, on the same mark:D. The actual group looked to be just over an inch, which is pretty ok with me. The other side of his property is a swamp, but were gonna take that piece of truck frame out to the 600yrd line if we find suitable ground to set it on. The steel is a frame rail cut off from a dump truck I built, harder then I thought as a 7mm Mag was the only caliber to barely dent it at 335yrds, my .308 and .223 dont even leave a mark. Now to start picking off some Does, to fill some of the 20 kill permits he has. Was fun learning the wind a bit, too.....My .308 was drifting 5" left with only a modest breeze a few nights ago, but was dead on windage today in the calm.
Will get a pic of the landscape, very pretty farmland!
