We know that M2 Ball was issued to replace M1 Ball ammo for the M1 Garand. Ordnance reports tell us that the New M2 Ball worked fine in the M1 Garand. However, this M2 Ball ammo did have one problem during testing. What was that problem?

The correct answer to this quiz is as follows:

M2 Ball had Excessive smoke. Ordnance and Dupont were working on the problem. The M2 Ball was to replace M1 Ball ASAP. M1 Ball had many problems with the M1 Rifle.
