M1897: Update

I took the family Winchester M1897 in for a check-up today. The barrel bulge that got my attention isn't big enough to be concerned about. According to the 'smith it is a relatively small bulge. If I keep the loads at sane pressures the gun will last another 100 years. I plan to continue to shoot the #$@$ out of my Mossberg and use the M97 for special occaisions

Off to the gravel pits to bust up some clay.
