M98 Mauser

I recently got a M98 Mauser in 7x57. It is a sporterized FN Mauser. I want to re-barrel it with a Hart stainless barrel to 7x57 AI. Is the action strong enough to do this? It looks to be in very good condition.

An FN 98 Mauser is strong enough for anything that will fit in it.

It's hard to imagine a stronger action than a 98 made by FN.

As long as it is an M98...a lot of 7mm's were built on the 93 action.
