I've been looking for a better bi-pod and have been wanting to get a Magpul but didn't like the mounting options.
QD pic mounts need to be adjusted between rifles, at least mine do so I started looking at Arca clamps.
I seen Magpul has a new attachment, the Rail Grabber that works with Arca and pic rails.
Midway has it for decent price and so I got the Arms17 mount bi-pod and Grabber for about $150.

The large knurled knob snugs down tight, quick and easy between all my rails.
I've been wanting to get another tripod with an Arca clamp and have been looking at IWI's 15.5" Arca rail HG so that will work on it too.

Just bought that same set up. I like it, it works, but I have to say...I'm ticked off at Magpul. Their normal bipod vs the ARMS17 are almost identical OTHER than how they are mounted. The ARMS17 still uses the M-loc style nuts...but the attachment base is shorter to fit the rail grabber.

That's the only difference. I kinda feel thats a rip off. They should only make one size (the one used on the ARMS17 style bipod) that will work on anything that has bottom rails...or added rail with either M loc or keyloc.

I've had a QD mount for a few years but it needs adjusted between rifles.
Same with the QD scope and red dot mounts I have, but I don't really swap optics around.
The ADM and MWI mounts don't need a tool to adjust like the QD bi-pod (5mm allen) though.

The Rail Grabber mounts low and mounts up solid to the rail.

Continuing down the Arca trail..
Went with the IWI 15.5" integrated Arca rail, really wish I had of seen this when I was choosing a handguard the first time.
No more extra attachments for a bi-pod and can be moved anywhere.

The wider bottom sits down better in a saddle or a rest.

Now to start getting another tri-pod a piece at a time, should have gotten a ball head to start with.
