it is easy to find a list of places where carry is prohibited in ME. figuring out what the penalty for that is, not so easy. can anyone point me at that? and is it the same penalty for any prohibited area? I looked at the state sight, maine state police site, and you can see where they say carrying is prohibited in places enforcable by law, but - well, if you do carry and get caught in ME, what is the penalty if you are in a prohibited area, like a restaurant that serves alchohol and has no gun signs. I live in NH and frequent ME and have family there.
