Hey everyone,

I recently purchased a laser/light combo for my HD gun. However the pressure switch requires too much pressure and it wont stick to the checkered grips of my gun. My gun is a kel-tec 9mm sub2000 carbine. So, I attached the laser close enough that it only takes a second to turn it on.

However, when is the laser used? What is an ideal time to turn it on? For instance, If I keep it on, even aimed at the floor while waiting for an intruder etc, the chances of that little red light being seen are quite high. So, since I intend to use the laser to either fire from the hip or otherwise unconfortable position or incase i do not have time to pull up the sights, how would one go about using this? Should I look into a lighter pressure switch? Should I perhaps keep the laser on when I need it regardless of getting noticed by an intruder? Maybe it will make him think twice etc? Unlikely...but Im just thinking out loud here.

Just something thats been picking at my brain. Thanks for the input.
