I got my 17" MGM TC encore barrel out today and got to put many loads over the crony. I thought these numbers would be nice to share if anything for posterities sake. All accuracy references are @50 yds
SIG 115g FMJ
1520 fps, this load was very clean shooting but was more of a pattern than a group.
Winchester 124g FMJ "NATO" load
1360fps, just as inaccurate as above, very dirty
Aguila 124 FMJ
1210fps, more of a "pattern" than a group, also dirty
Hornady custom 124g XTP JHP
1380fps, very very accurate. Pretty much one ragged hole
Speer 124g +P GDHP
1466fps, 2.5" group
HANDLOADS
124g cast powdercoated Lee TC
5.0g HS-6 1120fps 10 shots into 2" very dirty
147g xtp loaded with 9x21 data to 9x21 COL 1460fps at max load. One ragged hole
