Hey,

I would like too know if anyone on here might know the value of :

Marlin 1894S 41 magnum 20 inch micro round barrel probably a 1983-1989 year model?? It is A+ condition.

Thanks
Bob

Blue book of gun values has it at $475 for 98%, and $365 for 95%.

If it is in 100%, like new in box and unfired with no flaws it could be
worth as much as $550.

Skipjack,

I think it is same as new and also includes the box. I thought maybe the 41 might command a small premium, but fewer people like them.

Thanks for the post
Bob

I don't put much stock in Blue Book values, especially when it comes to something that may garner collector interest. There are three on Gunbroker right now for $850-$1200.

There is a big difference between asking and selling price. I don't know how collectible they are, but they are a very cool rifle.
Gunbroker is a good reference, but I put more faith in pricing based on what goods actually
are sold.

I would think that the 41 is not as popular because of the lack of ammo compared to 44 mag, etc. If you handload, no biggie...but most folks do not.
I have owned several blackhawks in 41 over the years, and would like to acquire a Smith in 41 at some point, so I am not bashing the caliber.

These seem to be scarce, they always were limited production items. If I found one for $450.00, it would be moving to my safe. Always wanted one.

I think this must be some kind of cult society that cherish this caliber. The bad part is I would like too join this cult. :D

If I didn't just dry up my gun fund recently, I'd be offering you $500 right now.

In fact, I'm sort of pounding my head on a wall because I'd love you make you an offer.
