Marlin 25MN groups

I just finished this a few minutes ago, and thought I'd post a picture. I was using 40gr CCI Maxi Mags at 100 paces, not yards and firing was in the prone position using an old ChiCom backpack as a rest. I was just curious as to whether or not these were pretty good groups.

Please let me know what you think, and don't be gentle.

Look great to me! When you say "paces", are you meaning right heel to right heel, as in 2 steps? In that case it's awesome IMHO!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, 100 paces means I took 100 strides. I tried to approximate 100 yards.

I'd say you're grouping fine.
It's funny how accurate pacing can be.
I didn't have time to go to the range for Decembers THR "postal match".
I paced off 50 yards as best could.
I shot in the same spot again for Februarys and this time had my range finder. It was exactly 50 yards.

I've thought about an MN for years. Looks like I really Need one, now! Great shooting. I though you meant stride and I agree, it's pretty accurate measuring method.

You'd really do yourself a favor by getting one. The only thing about the rifle I don't like is its trigger. I have to really concentrate to make sure I don't pull the rifle off target when squeezing the trigger.

Fortunately, there are after-market triggers available. Can't remember who makes them, though.
