Marlin 25N?

I have the chance to buy one of these for $200. The wood looks good and it has a low round count (100)Guy said he bought it new in 2007 but I'm not sure when Marlin switched from the 25N to the 925.

Does anyone have one and how do you like it? If it's anything like it's brother, the 925, I'm sure I won't be disappointed but I'd like to hear from someone who owns and shoots one. Thanks

ryanrichmond, I have a marlin model 25, I think it is a 25N (heck it's been 25 years or so since I used it. It was my first .22 rifle, that I bought in the late 70's and it has the 7 shot magazine. The wood stock has some type of animal on the pistol grip area if I remember correctly. As a young man I killed many squirrels with that rifle and it never gave me any problems.
