go over to rimfirecentral.com for many threads on the 795, particularly look for a dude, who bought one in I think Argentina, and see all the tweeks he did to his, and the game he takes down with it!!!!
the 795 is highly underrated, but can be said to be the best semi auto for under 300 bucks that you can get; and you can get them for under 100.
plus they are so super light and handy, the only thing handier would be a papoose; same stock, stainless other stuff. the origional papoose had a wood stock, and an actual attached forearm.
I'll give you 3 quick things to do right here, to help accuracy and they are cheap. one, replace the trigger return spring, with a old computer/drive door spring, or cut a ring out of that one. Two; either put a little pressure pad up front , under the bbl , between it and the stock, or wrap the bbl/stock alltogether , with a wrap for racquetball racquet rewrap stuff; if is very tacky and very stretchy, but curiously, only sticks real good to itself. This is of course two very cheap bedding jobs. Three; put some strips, the size of finger bandaids, down inside the sides/bottom, a few layers thick, of aluminum tape, down inside the stock/action area, that you can buy at home despot or such. This will make your reciever/action fit in super snug, inside the stock.
By the way, if you have not tried ammo from Eley/Aguila/golden eagle yet, get some of those. also try wolf, and anything by CCi, and last but
not least, American Eagle, red box, which is made by Federal. One of the
above ammos, should shoot lights out for you...
