Mauser HSC firing pin spring replacement questions

Can someone provide instructions to properly replace the firing pin spring in a WWII era Mauser HSC? Any assistance is appreciated, thank you, Bill

The are disassembly and assembly instructions for the HSc here. I've not tried this with my own gun.

Perfect - thank you. This does not look too hard but you never know. I got a new recoil spring from Wolff and it came with a firing pin spring. Maybe I am just looking for trouble since it works fine as is. What a great site! Bill

If it ain't broke, don't fix it! You do not want to get into that slide unless you absolutely have to.

Jim Keenan may be right. My HSc is one of the few guns I haven't worked up the nerve to detail strip yet. The internals don't seem to be as straightforward as in my other guns.
