DPris; Just order for a standard M98(safety & trigger), the trigger was just a "push out pin, take old trigger out, new trigger in , push in pin" (5 min) I got lucky, as no adjusting needed to get the (stock mauser) safety to work. As I stated before the low mount safety had to be fitted by a smith! If I recall correctly it was about $50 bucks, but I had several things done at once and didn't look at the breakdown. That Timney trigger shrank my groups from 4"-5" to 2"-3" @ 50yards iron sights and after I scoped it to 1-1/4". Not bad from a 60+year old action & barrel!

My Mausers are, FN 98k Israeli rebarreled to 7.62x51, Swede 1942 M38 6.5x55 and a 1945 M37 Turk K. Kale 8x57. Most accurate goes to the Turk, that 29" barrel makes for a sweet shooter with iron sights when reaching way, way, out to touch something. For a Turk mfg. rifle, was surprised at the quality of machine work and fit
