Message from Rob Simonich's wife Christine

I just posted an update from Christine Simonich on Rob's website http://www.simonichknives.com/ , and a small tribute to Rob on my website.

Christine is working on the paperwork needed to bury Rob on private property. She expects this will go through, and the burial plans will be as posted on the website. In the unlikely event there's a paperwork problem I will update the website with new details.

She is overwhelmed with grief right now at Rob's death. As she moves forward in her new path, I think she'd like hearing from people who knew Rob or who simply enjoyed his knives. The address is on the first page of his website.

Yes, that's a bummer of a first post, though I don't feel like I'm new here since I've used THR as a great reference.

Found it when I was searching about something related to revolver timing on this forum's predecessor. Even though I am obsessed with this knife project, I am more of a gun person than a knife person. At least in terms of the amount of training I've had and how comfortable I am with them or at least knives other than the one I designed.

Right now I'm in grad school and trying to not participate in any new forums so that I don't fail out!

When I do have a chance to take a breath, I have been wanting to ask about
- how to fix my Benelli m3 (I think - the one that is both pump and full auto) super 90 that doesn't eject right
- if I can do a timing check on a revolver myself
- my new Beretta Neos that I really like!
- how to get a gun-cleaning-fluid stain out of my wooden kitchen table
and about a million other small questions that have accumulated.

Thanks Skunkabilly. I heard from his wife that at least Rob's brother Tony seems to be making progress, though he's still critical.

Wow. I only spoke with Rob a few times via email surrounding my order of a set of his Gunner Grips. I was planning on letting him know that I gave them a real workout last weekend and couldn't be happier.

I wonder if he's still getting email out there in the ether...I think I'll send the praise his way anyway, and my condolences to his family.
