The reason none of the links posted had info on the use of deadly force is because that really isn't a subject of Michigan's firearms laws. The use of force would be covered under the general Michigan laws regarding battery, assault with a deadly weapon, justifiable homicide, etc. You'd have to put practically the whole Michigan Compliled Laws on-line to truly cover the relevant laws.
The *huge* difference between Texas law and Michigan law is that in Michigan you CAN NOT use deadly force to protect property. You can ONLY use deadly force to protect life. I'm sure there are other differences as well, but that's a big one.
