I had an email very recently re their ''Blems'' ...

These are the overruns, cosmetic blemish and incorrectly packaged bullets from a major bullet manufacturer. As part of our agreement to sell these, we can't disclose the bullet manufacturer!

They initially offered case qty's before breaking them down into smaller lots.

I tried for some .452's (all gone!) and some .458's (all gone!) ...... but did manage to secure (last I was told) case of .357 158 JHP's .. 3,000 count. heck .. they sold this stuff like instantly! 3,000 equates to 68 lbs weight .. the box weighed at 71 lbs (did include a catalog) .. but I'd say I got the 3,000 and a few more.

They still have some info on their web site .. but not sure what is left - worth a look. These 158's - with shipping - came to around $159 ... so effectively $53 per thou'... or $5.30 per 100. Midway sell these at ($9.55 per 100 .... plus shipping of course so ... all but half price.

As far as I can tell - 99.9% sure .... these are Hornady XTP's ... and have yet to find any in bad shape .. tho I will weigh some samples before loading. Not too bad a deal IMO.

Wow, that is a pretty sight to see.

Unfortunately there isn't anything for sale in the blems section tat I'm interested in.

i was sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the next blem sale and when i saw it i was all over it until i started looking at the prices.....the other blem sales had better prices.......i could buy new montana gold for about the same price from a guy that goes to matches in this area.....plus no freight......D I C K

That helps Dick ....... but as I am very fond of XTP's I am still pretty pleased with this lot ..... with my cast gas checks too - should be good for .... well ...... week or two!
