Mika's Pocket Holsters

I recently ordered a "Mika" pocket holster after reading a number of positive reviews on the gun forums. The service & quality that Mr. Mika provided was quite superior. I received the holster very quickly. It was very nicely made & fit my 642 very well. I had been looking for an oversized pocket holster that would cover all metal on the revolver. The Mika holster came close to covering all metal, but left a small amount exposed at the top. Since I liked the holster & it seemed to be constructed well, I emailed him to inquire about having another slightly larger holster custom made that would fit as I wanted. He responded that he would make another holster for me free of charge, & that I could either keep the original holster or give it to someone who needed one. I was quite surprised as my request was not intended to be a complaint. As I said the holster was very nice, it just didn't quite fit the way I wanted. I just received another email from him that he has made the holster and sent it out tonight (just a little more than a day after my request). I am very pleased with the service Mr. Mika provided, and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a nice affordable pocket holster ($16 includes shipping). Check out his website for details. I've provided a picture of my holster in the link below. It seems that Mr. Mika is an ex LA police officer who started making the holsters while still on the force because he couldn't find any holsters that met his needs. These holsters became popular and now he also makes a line of other accessories. I also saw his name mentioned in an Ayoob article. http://www.frontiernet.net/~akim/index.html

I too have a Mika for my PM9. Nice holster like it quite abit more than my UM.

That reminds me I'm gonna order a rounded bottom as well.

I have a round cut Mika pocket holster. I like it very much. I carry a .38 snubby, which has a hammer spur, in the front pocket of my pants. Holster fills the pocket and covers the hammer spur. Just yesterday I recommended a Mika to a member of this forum.

The following is my experience: Robert Mika sent my holster before I paid him. He told me to try it out. If I liked it, then send him the money. If I didn't like it, then give it to someone who does--and I owe him nothing.

I received my new Mika's pocket holster today. It is perfect. Mr. Mika was able to make a custom holster to my exact specifications. Again, I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking to do business with a very professional individual who stands by his products, & just so happens to make a darn nice holster. I don't have a picture of the new one yet, but the difference is that the holster now covers all metal leaving no metal exposed.

I just ordered his Waistband Holster. I've been looking for an inexpensive one for my Beretta 92 and this fits the bill. If the construction is good, I may order one for my S&W 36.

They have a wide strip of tacky material on the outside, and are sewn so that the mouth of the holster stays open in your pocket. It reholsters very easily. I like em. They're inexpensive and simple...but they work ...and you can't beat the price.

I have two pocket holster right now: an Uncle Mike's that holds the gun securely but occassionally hitches a ride on the gun when I draw it, and a Desantis Nemisis that always stays in the pocket but doesn't hold the gun securely (it falls out of my pocket when I'm driving if my pockets aren't deep enough). How securely do Mika's holsters hold the gun?

Received two Mika pocket holsters in the mail the other day. One for a Kel-Tec P-11, and one for a S&W 649 .357. Both are well made, fit the gun perfectly, and hide the outline of the gun well. Very pleased with them.

I've got a Mika that I use with my PM9.

Simply outstanding. No printing (looks like you have an indescribable lump in your pocket). Gun comes right out...holster stays in the pocket...every time. What else could you want?

I got my Mika IWB holster yesterday. Construction quality is good and it seems to be durable, but it doesn't suit me. It's for sale in the For Sale: Accessories forum. It was ordered for a Beretta 92F, but it should fit any large auto with a 5" or less barrel.
