Hello everyone! For those of you who have asked (http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=327803) or are interested, the MSFOA will have its annual meeting at the Clarion Hotel, 5075 Interstate Highway North, Jackson, MS, on Saturday, February 23, 2008 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Clarion Hotel (formerly the Holiday Inn North) in Jackson, MS.
To get to the Clarion Hotel from I-55 North, take the Briarwood Road exit if coming from the south, or take the Beasley Road exit if coming from the north.
Get on the West Frontage Road and go south about a mile (past 3 car
dealerships) to the Clarion Hotel.
It is also time to renew your membership in MSFOA if your membership card
has an expiration date of 2/28/08. Life and 5-Year members will receive
their 2008 membership cards soon. Membership dues are as follows: Annual
$15, 5-Year $60, Life $150, Junior $5, and Shooting Clubs $50. Please mail
your membership dues to MSFOA, PO Box 6466, Jackson, MS 39282-6466, and please write your member number on your check or money order. I believe membership application forms are available on our website (http://www.msfoa.com/). Please DO NOT try to do an on-line application, as the website remains under construction. Print the page, fill it out, and mail it to the above address with an old-fashioned check, or bring it with you to the meeting.
Elections will be held for President, Vice President and
Secretary/Treasurer.
The drawing for the M1 Garand Raffle will take place at the end of the
Annual Meeting. Raffle tickets can still be purchased until the Annual
Meeting starts.
As in the past, door prizes will be given out after the Annual Meeting.
Also, if you have a friend interested in joining MSFOA, please bring them
to the Annual Meeting.
