First, let me say that I have carried this gun for a while and have about 500 rounds through it without a problem. That all changed this morning.
I went to the range today and had problems. Some background info; I haven't cleaned or lubed it in about a month and I carried it in my front pocket everyday(in a holster and I kept my pocket as clean as I could).
I shot my 124g Gold dots that I carry all the time. The chambered round fired fine, as did the next, but the third round failed to feed and nosedived into the feed ramp. That happened twice in my first two mags.
I field stripped it and wiped off some of the crud/ pocket lint that was in there and then lubed it.
The target rounds fired fine. But more gold dots had different types of failures. At least 3 or more times the fired shell casing did not eject and got stuck.
One time, the last round in the mag, the fired shell casing did not eject. It was stuck in the mag.
Now I want to believe that the problem was my lack of Cleaning and lubing. But, I have gone this long before without cleaning or lubing it and it worked just fine. Do you think the problem was that it was dirty and dry, even though I field stripped it and lubed it and the it still had the problems.
