This is a state Rep that represents my district. Here is the message I sent and his reply. The best I have gotten so far.

What I sent below

I voted and rallied friends and family to vote for you in the last election. Now I want your help in defeating the misguided gun control laws being sent into the works. I am a veteran, former law enforcement officer, and a full time paramedic. I have served my country and communty my entire adult life and do not believe that any politician has the right to limit my Constitutional Rights. I ask you to oppose ALL new gun control legislation and instead work on the real issues such as mental health and enforcing the laws we have on the books. Thanks, and I anticipate your response to know where you stand. I want to know I made the right choice in voting for you.

We are getting a bunch of anti legislation in the sate level which is the reason I emailed him.

Sounds like a resonable guy. I contacted my Rep and Senator at the state level in Illinois. Both or with me.
