Greetings -
I have come across an old Steven's single action, single shot .410 shotgun but can not seem to find the model number for this particular gun.
A search of the internet did not come up with much, so thought I'd inquire here.
The best information I have is that it is stamped with "J. Stevens Arms Company/Chicopee Falls, Mass, USA"
The barrel has the following stamped upon it:
"Patented August 12, 1913"
and
"410 bore or 12 M-M"
The search of the net seems to indicate this gun may have been made between 1920 and 1940 (based upon the fact it says "J. Stevens Arms" and not "J. Stevens Arms & Tool")
Any thoughts/ideas on what the model of this gun may be would be very appreciated (the info stamped on the receiver is very well worn, to the point that it was hard to get what info I have...the stampings on the barrel are in fairly good condition).
