Last weekend I had a chance to go out to a range near BCS TX.
It was very hard to find pistol ammo so I bought what was available at Academy, which was Monarch brand in .357.
I was using a Taurus 5 shot snubnose. It handled CCI .38 and .357 with no problems. After firing the Monarch brand the second or third round would leave pieces of the bullet stuck in the cylinder preventing it from turning.
Have any of you experienced this before and w/ what brand of ammo?

I've shot one or two boxes of Monarch through my model 19 and did not have any issues with it.

I have shot them in .38 and a few .357's

with no problems ....sounds more like a timing problem with the gun

:what:..................

The pieces or piece were the size of a half moon sliver. They were caught right where the cylinder rests against the barrel preventing the cylinder from turning when the trigger was squeezed. I dislodged the sliver by depressing the trigger as far back as it would go and rocking the cylinder left to right and vice versa. Once the cylinder moved freely I eased the hammer and trigger into their rest positions reloaded and continued firing. This happened three more times
I fired 4 boxes of the monarch and one cci in .357 and two boxes of cci in .38
What a workout on the wrists!! GMH1013 or anyone else please elaborate on the timing issue.
