More old Schrade goodness

I bought 3 of these around 2003. 2 are put up and this is my daily user.
Feels really good in hand and nylon snap sheath is excellent.
Does about any job I tackle and is great for whittling the canes I make.
I like The Imperial products.
It was Inexpensive then and even now used ones can be found for $40.00

That sounds like an LB7 Bearpaw. My father, brother, and I all got one back in the 80s. Mine saw a good amount of use when I was in a CAP ground search and rescue squadron. They were at least as well made as the Buck 110s and are individually serial numbered. Great knife.

Yup, that's the one, though mine is not serialized.
 
I still have a couple of Made in the USA Schrade pocket knives around. The LB5 was a daily work knife for a number of years while the Lightweight was mainly used when I was traveling light.
