I have just been offered $65 for each of two Mossberg 40 M-B 22 rifles. They were gifts from my father to my brother and me about 58 years ago. It has been fired but not in the last 30 years. The stocks are in excellent condition, but I am unaware of the type of wood. Does anyone know the value of this gun?

Sounds too cheap to me, but take a look at this site, there could be some help there.

You could take some pics and advertise them here in the Buy, Sell and Trade forums. Make sure you follow the rules (state in title, price in OP, etc.).
Personally, I wouldn't sell any of my 22s for under $100. I'd rather just keep them.

They were gifts from your father? I don't think you should sell them.

In 10 years, will you remember what you did with that $65? Will you remember shooting them with your father and brother?

If you do decide to sell them, $65 is much too cheap, IMO.
