Hey Guys just wanted to give you a heads up to all of you interested in this project. I just uploaded part two of the Mossberg 500 Project on my channel, i tried to keep it as short as possible without leaving out good info. hope you guys enjoy and thanks for the support.

My 0.02¢ and a few points of clarification. The video does not explicitly instruct the viewer that the left is longer as well as the right extractor having different cartridge rim engagement geometries (thus different part #'s), as many dual-extractor bolts are designed. Furthermore, the left extractor retaining pin is SHORTER in order that it does not project into the Ejector guide recess in the bolt. To avoid tying up all your fingers compressing the firing pin spring while installing or removing the firing pin retaining pin I fabricated a simple compression vise for that task, holding the entire assembly in a padded vise to allow full attention of the hands to controlled pin removal.

The attempt at "polishing the bolt" seems poorly executed. Around ~7 min mark, it's quite evident that using a coarse to fine sand paper progression was not a good idea as too-many-to-count
surface scratches are quite noticeable as a result. A light buffing wheel would seem more appropriate.
