Mossberg 590 or 500? Where?

Hi, y'all. This isn't a thread comparing/contrasting the two formentioned shotguns, but a question about them. I want to buy, and I will, another Mossberg to replace my old 500 Pursuader that is being sold to my Dad.

I want ghost ring sights and a parkerized finish. These are my two requirements. Mossberg's website lists these two, and they match my criteria:
1. #50517 500® 12 gauge w/Ghost Ring Sights, 6-shot capacity, parkerized, 18.5" length barrel, field synthetic stock. ...MSRP $468

2. #51663 590 A1™ same as #50668 pictured above, except features heavy-wall barrel, metal trigger guard and safety button and field synthetic stock. MSRP $558

These are the descriptions of the guns on mossberg's website, I just cut and pasted them here. My question is this: Where can I find one of these two? I live in southeastern Michigan, and have been in several places looking for or attempting to order on of these two. I would prefer to find the 1st one, as I like the profile of the 6 shot 500 much more than than the 9 shot 590. Any suggestions?

Mossberg does have 18.5" barreled 590A1 models available, which you may prefer. I have the #51517.

I had my model 51663 , 590-a1 (this gun is awsome to say the least) ordered from mossberg thru Michigun and tackle in saint claire shores Michigan. They were small bit cheaper than double action in madison heights.(like $60 cheaper IIRC)

Benelli shotguns look so ugly...I do want a Mossberg. An American-made weapon, looks good for self defense. Anyone know what the ballpark price for a 590A1 is?

Retail price should be between $460 and $490.
Theres a shop in Youngstown Ohio that has four of 'em listed on Gunbroker right now with a Buy It Now price of $480. Thats about 3.5 hours each way from SE Mich tho.

I'd get a Mariner if I could. I just can't decide between the 590 or 500. I don't have any places nearby that have them in stock so I would have to order them. I don't want to order them until I can hold them & see which one feels right.
