Most used holster

I've put hundreds of Glock sights in over the years. Ive never seen one drifted that far to one side to shoot. I know you know what your doing too. Id have to wonder what was off with my gun
Nothing wrong with the gun.
I’ve got a lot of nerve damage from radiation treatments I had back in 2006. When I was able to go back to work in late 2007, I had to learn how to shoot again. Couldn’t use my index finger to pull the trigger, had to use my middle finger for four years before I could start using my index finger again.
The trouble is shooting left handed. I don’t have much nerve damage in my left arm and have to adjust my aim to the right to hit the target. :)

This old Uncle Mike's Size 1 pocket holster has been with me almost every day for the last 6 years, carrying my LCP. Even when carrying a larger gun on the belt, I usually still have this as a backup. This is an older picture, it's a bit more worn now... but still works.

I have lots of favorite holsters that show some good use, but my favorite is my El Paso Saddlery Threepersons rig for my favorite single action, my Ruger Bisley .45 Colt. The gun started out as a 7 1/2 inch, but after reading lots of Ross Seyfried I had the barrel cut back to 5 1/2. Lots of good use in both the leather and the gun. It is very comfortable to wear all day and the gun is accessible and ready when needed.

I have a bunch of Glocks, and the rear sight on every one of them is pretty much exactly where you see the one on Gunnys. Just a skosh shy of full right.

I put my own on too, and figured out pretty quick where to put the rear sight when installing them. I usually don't have to make any other adjustments when I first shoot the guns.

It seems to be a pretty common thing with Glocks from what I've heard. I've been told that it's how you place your finger on the trigger, and/or grip the gun, but I haven't found that to make any difference. No matter how I place it, or adjust my grip, I still need the sight on the right. When I shoot without the sights, the rounds go right where I'm looking too.

Funny thing is, the rear sight on all my other autos and other handguns is pretty much centered.

Luckily, it's not an issue as far as holsters go. :)

I've put on hundreds for people. Usually night sights. (Everyone hates plastic sights and some guys replace night sights way more often then others) I measure and center them and they never get moved very far, some do just a bit. The only time I've seen them moved much is when the frame rails break and they try to adjust it out without stopping to think "my gun used to shoot correctly but now it's several inches off...hmmm"

Gunnys reason makes sense. Otherwise if the barrel is centered and the gun is solid it shouldn't be all that far to the side unless trigger input in pretty bad.

And no it don't hurt holster selecting. I did install some TFO night sights that would hit the top flap on a level 3 though . The rear U notch is so tall. They also won't work in a Roni chassis

One of my favorite holsters that I didn't mention is made by TT gun leather. It is a combination OWB/IWB model that I use as an OWB.
Very comfortable and well made. Forgot to mention it as it was hot outside when I originally posted. Now that it's cold out OWB is the way to go.

I make holsters as a hobby. My most used are usually pancakes for edc. The one pictured here is a pancake I made for my wife's new S&W EZ
The other is a Tom Threepersons style with some artistic expression. These days I mostly carry a little J frame in a pancake. I don't have a picture of it because all of my photogenic pretty and fancy holsters always seem to find a home. I end up using my serviceable mistakes and I don't usually take pictures of those.
