I landed a new job in Colorado Springs, and I start in 2 weeks. :)

I was wondering if any fellow THR members could suggest any ranges, gun stores, or other gun-related stuff to do there?

I'm really excited, but sad because my family will have to stay behind in Kansas initially. I'll need some places to go for target shooting, ammo, etc.
Thanks for any comments and tips!

Lots to do here

http://www.ar-15.co/ for many worth while discussions.

Many options, A very active USPSA, steel challenge 3gun population. With matches just about every weekend within a hour of the area
Two private indoor pistol and 100 yard ranges, Magnum and Whistling Pines.
The Olympic training range has Bullseye and other events.
Public range just outside of Fort Carson on I-25. Several outdoor clubs that host open to the public events. Such a s tac and precision rifle.

The Cheyenne Mountain Shooting Complex is great and only $10.
Speciality Sports is a huge gun store here in town. They are a bit higher in price than anywhere else but they have a huge selection. Sportsman's Warehouse has a much smaller selection but better prices.
Hoser and Justin run a monthly tactical rifle match down in Pueblo West.
