After reading the interesting thread on owning multiple guns in the same caliber, I got to thinking of my 1911s in an opposite vein.
Several different calibers in the *same* gun.
In this rack I have Colts in; .22 .38 Special, .38 Super, 9x19, 9x23 (Winchester), .45 & 10mm.
Aside from wildcats, I think I've read of .380 full size 1911s and had a Largo Llama once as well... Mighta been a Star though. I pal has a .455 I've been after for some time too.
Oh yeah, I'm sure some weirdos out there have one in 10mm short or 10mm kurz.
I should think some folk have a passel of differently flavored Blackhawk Rugers and maybe some Redhawks too.
