I am trying to replace the muzzle break on a California MPA 930 (mini 11) and they spot welded it and pinned it. I removed the weld but how does one go about removing the pin? Any info will be much appreciated.

If it's a blind hole pin with a spot-weld on one side only you will have to drill it out.

A drill press or mill & solid vice are highly recommended.

Not contemplating doing anything illegal are you?

the pin may or may not be tapered. if it is it can only be driven out one way. If not simply get a correct sized punch and tap it out.

another (although expensvie) option might be using an E.D.M. to remove the pin. that would remove the pin only even in a blind hole. an E.D.M. stands for Electrical Discharge Machine, where they use an arc to erode the metal away until it is all removed. they can get outstanding accuracy with these if the right operator is doing the job.
i am glad my M.B. was only red loctited on!
