My 870 jams (shells don't extract cleanly)

So I got a Remington 870 Express. It shoots great but the empty shells seem to jam up on the extracter. When I pump it back to extract the shell, the shell gets caught up in the opening. (It's almost as if the opening is not wide enough).

It seems to be the gun because I'm pumping the gun with a lot force.

Sometimes the shell extracts cleanly and gets pumped out of the gun with force. Other times the shell pumps out of the gun very weakly. (the shell basically just falls out of the gun)

How can I fix this?

It happens with Winchester Ranger low recoil 2 3/4 inches 00 buck shot.

I've only shot this type of ammo through the gun because the range I go to requires you to purchase their shotgun ammo.

Out of 10 shots ... 4 pump out cleanly with force....2 pump out with very little force (they just fall out of the hole) ..... 2 hang up on the sides of the extraction hole.

The metal ring on the bottom of the shell appears to get stuck.

By the way, I shot the first 30 rounds of buckshot and slug with the same problems. Tonight was round 31-80 for the gun. I really can't believe this can be break-in. I expect all my guns to function from the very beginning.
