Well I received my CMMG Bargain Bin rifle yesterday. It has a 18" barrel with a 1/7 twist. Chrome lined barrel and chamber. My plans are to replace the Tapco stock with an A2 standard stock and replace the pistol grip with a Magpul MOE. Just have to get some specialized tools to remove existing parts. I also am going to put a riser mount on the receiver then put a scope on it. The upper and lower receiver fit good. Little or no play. Trigger isn't great but breaks nicely at about 5 lbs with very little creep. The only thing wrong with it is a small smudge on the pistol grip. Now time to clean it up.............:D

I looked at their site after seeing your rifle and wanted to ask if you paid the extra $25 for a "hand select" version or did you go for pot luck. It looks good. I am looking for a dealer to have one sent to here in the Ft Worth/Burleson area. My dealer I use to use (Bills Gun Shop) closed it doors.

Do you know what your rifle weighs? Some of the ARs I have picked up seem to weigh in around 8-9 pounds. I would like to stay as light as possible. Like no more that 7 pounds.

Congrats! The same rifle I got, but I got a Double Star lower-- and th $25 handpicked fee? I did it, and can find zero blemishes on it-- Mine does have M4 feed ramps (I would imagine yours does too)-- Great value -- especially for the price...

I did not pay the extra hand picked fee. That explains the smudge on the grip......:D.......... As it came from CMMG the rifle doesn't weigh much at all. I would guess around 7 lbs. The Tango Down grip is very nice. I was expecting a cheap A2 GI grip. I am extremely happy with the CMMG lower. Thanks CMMG.........:D
