My daughter shooting

It appears that she's left-eye dominent, using her left eye when shooting right handed.

You should have her try shooting left-handed, using her left eye. If that doesn't work, she might not be able to hold the rifle normally right-handed unless she closes her left eye (or wears a patch on the left) and uses her right eye.

My grandson didn't like shooting left-handed, so closes his right and it works for him. Using a scope with the right eye might also solve the problem.

I have a 5 year old daughter as well and was thinking of teaching her to shoot wiith the same gun next year. She hasn't mastered the sight picture yet, more interested in just pulling the trigger. So far we have only shot a pump air pistol together.

That is awesome. I'm looking forward to teaching my daughter as well. 11 months old and already has a better .22 rifle than her dad :)

My 13 yr old daughter is left eye Dom. Right handed.
Took her shooting Sunday. First time shooting southpaw
First time with open sights and first time with a
Non 22 cal.
On paper from the git-go with her new mosin 91-30.
Kids can adjust easier to change than you would think!
