My First Frankenrifle!

Hey All,

Recently finished building my Franken-AR, and thought I'd share! Put together the lower myself but had Robb Jensen over at Virginia Arms put my upper together. Great guy and did a great job, highly recommend.

Anyways, wanted to get into 3 gun, so built it geared towards that. Put 100 rds of M193 ammo through, and there's little to no felt recoil, it's amazing. Will be putting some more upgrades in once I have the money, such as an optic (might go with Aimpoint T1 for Limited division or Burris XTR for Tactical) and an upgraded trigger (thinking Geissele 3 Gun - anyone have experience with it?)

Lower:
-Lancer L15 lower

Upper:
-Noveske 16" SS LW Midlength Barrel

I've never seen one of those flared mag wells before. interesting. Is it as effective as it looks?

I like that term "potato rifle"... i might have to start calling it that

As for the flared magwell, it's great for mag changes. Barely have to look at the magwell to get a mag in right... it's really like water going into a funnel.
