I just bought a Knight D.I.S.C. Extreme! I am very excited about this inline. It has a fluted, blued barrel in .45 cal. and it has a heavy synthetic stock. It came with some extras scope mounts, sling, extra breach plug, breach plug tool, bullets, and 209 disc plugs. I bought this gun for $169.00 and it is used. It is not very old under a year or around that. I just wanted to know if anyone else has this gun, what your experiences are, what did you pay for it, and just let me know anything on the matter. Had to write something on this I'm to excited not to. Thanks fellas!

I just learned learned more than I ever wanted to know about the Knight Disc Extreme rifles. :D
I clicked on the searchbox in the toolbar near the top of the page and did a quicksearch for >>>>>>>> knight disc <<<<<<<<<<< and quite a few threads came up in the results. The search words will appear in bold red letters in any posts containing them. You'll find tidbits of info. in some places and full posts in others. I started to copy and paste them but, you can always scan the posts and repeat the search yourself later. Even the for sale ads offer some information. It looks like you bought yourself a nice rifle, good luck with it and let us know it shoots for you. ;)

Knight makes as good or better rifles than anybody on the market. I still shoot my "beginner" model USAK American Knight cause I've yet to see another rifle outshoot it (at least for my needs and pocketbook anyway). And BTW - I paid 169.00 for my rifle and starter kit back in 2000 ................. so you got one heck of a deal! :D

The only possible downside to your rifle is that it is a .45cal instead of a .50cal. Most of the lighter bullets made for the .45's are over-stabilized in these fast twist rifles - so the best way to counter this is to keep your powder loads a little lighter and your bullets as heavy as you can get them. In other words, anything more than 100 to 120gr of powder will probably reduce accuracy and for a bullet, the 295gr Power Belts are about the heaviest on the market in .45cal and will give you great accuracy with 90 to 100gr of powder (2fg loose Triple 7 being my choice of powder).

Thanks Mark whiz thats some very usefull info, I'll definitely test those loads out.

Does anybody else have any load recommendations for the Knight .45 cal.? What kind of results did you get with this load as far as accuracy, and at what distance?
