This is my beloved Leatherman Skeletool (top). I have been carrying it since ~2009 as my EDC knife. It has lived a pretty hard used life and even at one point in time it was lost only to be found a few weeks later in a tractor track on the hunting property. We have been through a lot together and thus it has been sharpened a lot over the years of hard use. A few year after the Skeletool was released, Leatherman release a small pocket knife (bottom) built around the Skeletool's blade. I bought one not to use (it's a pretty horrible knife due to the handle) but to have a spare blade for my Skeletool just incase. Today I was sharpening my Skeletool again and it occurred to me to compared it to the same blade that still has the factor edge.

Here is the part where the lovers of serrated blade my want to look away. I have worn away a fair amount of blade over the years especially in the serration due to the way I sharpen. I have always just sharpened it on a pair of ceramic crock-sticks as I do all my knives. Probably not the best system but its quick and easy and results in fairly sharp knives if I do my part.

Not much serration left just a little bit of wiggle in the edge. None the less it is a very sharp knife and that bit of reflex in the blade is remarkable useful sometimes.

Lets see your most sharpened knife.
