I shoot in my yard an have 25yd,50yd,100yd benches setup.the boys an i shoot about everything here.i use sand bags with old braided rugs on them to protect my sand bags from my guns burning holes in them.my new rest is my old rod holders screwed on my old sand bag rest.i don,t like to rest the barrel on anything ,I try to rest the part of the receiver in front of the trigger guard in my rest ,or just hold the handgun in my hands an rest them on a bag.

Watch the wires, looks like you are shooting up hill. I remember when we were kids my Brother and I put together a plate rack and ricochets had nicked a few power line wires before we noticed (thousands of rounds later). We moved the rack and never heard a word from our Father or Grandfather, I’ll have to check to see if they ever did anything to repair them, been decades since I even thought about it.

Has made me always look down range since though.

Was the block in the bottom photo a former push rod holder?

I think you got that right an was for my sons diesel i think.:pvery little grade an almost level ,just the picture . Bullets not going anywhere with a railroad ty wall behind the dirt pile.
